For Guests
Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology / (ICST) Zurich University of the Arts
This page is specifically for our ICST guests to help them use the studio.
Guests will receive technical support from ICST. In order to make the technical setup/installation as efficient as possible, we ask for the following support. Guests make an appointment with ICST (contact via invitation email)
at least one hour prior to the start of the presentation for on-site technical setup.
Technical scenarios:
1st scenario:
- guests bring their PPT/keynote along with an internet link collection and media (audio/video) on an SSD drive/stick.
2nd scenario:
- guests design their presentation from their own devices (PC/Mac) by installing the following components:
- Audio driver for 'RME Madiface USB' (please refer to RME's operating system instructions).
- The beamer in the studio can be accessed via the following connections: RGB/HDMI and directly via USB-C.
- Please configure your screen playback to 1080p x 960.
- Bring your connection adapter with you.
3rd scenario:
- For live electronic performances and special installations planned, please send a detailed tech rider at least 30 days before the presentation. Mailto:johannes.schuett@zhdk.ch
Important: The composition studio doesn't have too good wifi at the moment!
ICST Artist in Residency are supervised by Tobias Gerber and the ICST team.

The ICST Composition Studio is primarily available for the Studio Residency.
